Hellooooo, I put away my art journal for a while & had a play with some ~TANDO~ chippy! Now I am going to be very self indulgent now but I am excited :-D but I am so thrilled with the way these elephants turned out and its so exciting to be working on something that I designed...whooo!!!! When I drew them I worked it so that the trunks & tails would come together so they looked like they do in real life. Not that these look anything but real hahahaha
I gesso'd them before sticking the beads on, using my favourite method of threading the beads before dropping them into the glue. Then I simply smothered them with glossy accents & dropped alcohol inks into it! Easy peasy...bright elephants hahaha! I kept the canvas simple with just a little paint, stamping & co-ordinating chippie from my stash. The elephant actually comes as part of a set including a cute hippo & a cheeky lion...
... and in 2 sizes. Great for a kiddies room! If you fancy these little fellas or any of Tando's brilliant chipboard then take a look ~HERE~ fro stockists. Thank you so much for taking a look today, take care HUGS XXX

KARENS FRAMES - PART 2
Helloooo everyone!!! What a relief it is to be back online...though it was only missing for a day hahahahaha!!! Its surprising how much we miss it though isn't it? Internet Explorer decided to have a brainfart on my pc and the laptop was just behaving like a loony. But I am lucky that thats the sort of problem that gets hubby all excited...not me sadly eh hahahahaha!!!!! He is a gem and fixed them both for me...ahhh bless his little black socks!!!
Anyways...enough waffling along...down to business (?). Here are the rest of my frames that I designed for Di at Tando Creative. Again these are tiddly with the square ones having 1" apertures. Just love those tiddly hearts that come out too!!! I found an empty little choccy box that I had saved and decorated the top with one. The box is only about 4inches long and was already covered. I stuck the hearts on wires but they do look like antennae hahahahahahaha...
I bought this blank tealight holder from Craft Barn (they have an amazing range of blanks...go see!). I painted it blue and then stamped & embossed on the top. I stamped & white embossed the Taj Mahal 4 times to stick on the sides. On 2 sides I cut the image down & added the gold embossed frame with a dancer inside. The stamps are from a set by Lost Coast Designs. I added some of those new Prima stud jewels for a more opulent look. Now why can you never find a tealight when you need one???
My last frame went on a card...you still there??? haha!!! The cream card was coloured with Distress Ink (as was the frame & hearts) and overlaid with some scrunched up paper I had coloured with glimmer mists. The stamp is by Sir Tim, I love this stamp!...
Thank you so much if you have got to here , lots of HUGS for everyone XXXXX

KARENS FRAMES - PART ONE!
A few weeks ago I spent ages trying to find some teensy frames for a particular project but couldn't find what I wanted. So when I approached Di at TANDO CREATIVE with a few designs I was soooo chuffed that she wanted to include them in her stock. What a thrilling experience it is to be able to work on some chipboard that I actually designed myself hahahahaha!!!!! They come complete with all the little hearts & centres (they just pop out) so you can use them as well!!! To give you an idea of sizes, the square appertures are 1inch, perfect for those little projects, like atc's. Although these are small they are extremely sturdy & will take a good beating, even the gorgeous teensy hearts that pop out! Here is what I did with these...
For a background paper, which I used in most of these projects, was made from a sheet of copier paper beaten up with adirondack inks & glimmer mists haha. My 1st project is an ATC.
Then I made a diddy card...sorry the embossing doesn't show too well :(
I used the flower on the front of a Mail Slider. First time I have
the inside if you would like to see...
and lastly another Atc...
Thank you so much for taking a peep today, I will show you what I did with the other little frames another time. For stockists please pop over to TANDO. HUGS XXX

OOOOO.....SO EXCITED!!!!!
ooooo I was just so excited when my chippie design was accepted by TANDO CREATIVE! As you know I am on their design team & after I showed this to fellow teamie Kaz she encouraged me to send it in. This little mushroom house is one that I have been drawing for kids forever I think! My little sister enjoyed it, my daughter enjoyed it, the kids in the school where I helped enjoyed it!!!! For my daughter I used to tell stories round it so I have called on those wonderful memories to create this picture. It will go on a canvas when I find one the right size.
For the Mushroom House, the cap is painted & glazed, except the spots which are just glittered. The 'trunk' is chalked & overstamped with a BG circle stamp. The door is card and I cut out the windows & stuck lace behind. The mushrooms are from a lovely stamp set by Elusive Images. The background is distress inks & overstamped with a Sir Tim stamp. Oh & the fairy stamp is by Dimension Fourth....she is pretty glittery!!!!
The story goes back to when my daughter was little but I added a few modern things. Oh & Vikki always called her fairies Krystal or Mary hahahahaha Goodness know why Mary hahahaha!!!!!!
Thank you so so much for letting me be self-indulgant hahaha HUGS XXX
