I painted the background with different colours of acrylic paint & then stamped blackberries all around the edges. I watercoloured the berries & leaves as well as the fabby AFTH cats. I cut some of the page so that I could tuck the cats behind the berries. The cats have been coloured to match my own three but I must assure you mine are not as angelic as these look hahahaha! Here are my August pages all finished...
As you can see there are still a lot of hearts showing the 'wedding stuff' days. My daughters wedding is on 1st October so I will be able to show you next month all the stuff I have been making for her big day. Nearly done now...phew!!!!! I have also been making a lot of preserves this year....jams & chutneys...oh & I have a few bottles of damson brandy on the go too...YUM! ( I mean maturing not drinking! hahaha)

Now I know why all the blackberries and hearts. These are both wonderful spreads. Gotta LOVE both but I'm super crazy about those dress forms.
