Jubilee Hat!

Just as the Queen is having a new hat for the occasion, I thought that I would  like one too!  The occasion is of course her Diamond Jubilee!!!!  As soon as I saw that Di Oliver had designed a hat set for Tando Creative I knew I had to have it.  Ok, its not the same size as my head but it will sit perfectly to one side with some elastic to hold it on hahaha!

The hat is part of a Mad Hatters set and comes with playing cards etc for all you Alice in Wonderland fans.  I have used the add-on kit to decorate mine.  How lucky was I to spot some guardsmen paper napkins in a graden centre?  Perfect for the job!  The brim measures 8inches one way and 9inces the other so its a fair size.  The back...

 and the sides...

So much fun to put together.  Here they are nekkid...

I can see all sorts of possibilities for this hat, can't you?  Thank you for taking a look today, HUGS xxx

Hi Karen, Thanks for your comment on my AB. I can see you are in Jubilee mode rather than AB mode but I am sure you can come up with something for the colour wheel, even with your theme. How about foody pictures? BJ

Oh My I'm in LOVE with that hat Karen!!!
It just brilliant; I love it with the teapot and all things British, I have jubilee crafting fever, I just can't get enough red white and blue LOL!!!!!!
I am so sorry to miss meeting you this weekend, but another chance will no doubt appear some time in the future.
I hope all goes well with your daughter and her new baby arrives just in time for the jubilee celebrations!
Have you got a baby grow ready covered in the Union Jack?!!
Lots of painfree birth vibes coming your daughter's way from Shropshire :-)
