Using the smallest crown box I covered it inside & out with Moonlight Fresco Paint. I love this paint as there is no need to gesso first and it goes on in one coat! Randomly ink the craquelure stamp with the Pearlescant Purple and press lightly to the top & bottom of the box then edge the pieces with the same ink. Using the memento ink stamp the long text stamp from the set around the edges of the bottom section. Glue narrow lace around the lid (I coloured mine with the Pearlescant Purple).
Stamp the flower & 3 bees onto card with Memento and, picking up some Pearlescant Purple on a brush, paint them. Emboss with clear embossing powder before cutting them out.
Using the Fresco paint, colour 3 small chippie buttons, including a small heart. Tie ribbon through the heart and glue the 2 others together. Arrange a small bouquet with the flowers and push the stems through the holes in the glued buttons. Attach the heart and bouquet inside the box. Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap of painted card & scroll the ends then glue to the front with the stamped flower tucked behind it. Attach a bee to some wire & push through the lid, secure on the inside. Glue a second bee to the scroll and the third to a flower inside the box.

The beaded edge didn't take that long once I got going. Thanks for your comment. BJ
Fantastic Karen, that colour is very soothing and I love the bees and the shape of the box. You have definately worked your magic here. :)

Hiya Karen
I thought I'd have a womble over to visit as I haven't really been anywhere recently (apart from blog to do with the silhouette Cameo), and I thought I'd start here. Oh, thanks for coming to visit me and comment on my naughty boy the other day... he's so funny - he gets up to all sorts that you wouldn't let a kid get away with!!!
Anyway - having a look round, before I go any further - its kind of spooky that I should have come across this particular post because of the project... I have a little paper mache treasure chest I bought and have painted it very similar colours to this - but have been at a total loss as to how to continue with a design - so its been stuck there since April!!!! Seeing this, I now know exactly what I'm going to do with it... don't get me wrong - it won't be the same as your as I don't have any of the stamps.... but you have inspired me no end. I love the colours you've done here - and how you've distressed the edges a bit darker. My project is a bit more metallic with white bits - but it funny what triggers the mind eh?
I love off the page projects - and need to follow through and do (more to the point, complete) more of the things i've either got planned, or have hanging around.
Hope you are well (sorry for the long comment - you know me....)
hugs
