Hi! Its always interesting when you have a group of crafters who all work with the same item...in this case a gorgeous Arch stamp from Katzelkraft. I do love this stamp and have made a little banner with it...
I coloured some white card with mustard seed distress ink before stamping the arch 5 times using different colour stazon inks. I did the same with the letters from the Cart-Us alphabet set except that I used Perfect Medium and embossed in gold. This was followed by lots of cutting out!!! I found some tassled braid in my stash and glued some to the bottom of the arches then glued the arches onto some white card so that the braid was sandwiched. Slits were cut in the tops of the arches and narrow ribbon threaded through for hanging.
Its hard to believe that this is my last calendar page already!!!!! Seems like 5minutes since I started these.....well, not 5minutes but you all know what I mean hahaha!!! This time I have used the arch to make a little door...
I just love this saying and I thought it appropriate as we look forward to a new year! Don't you just love that little Tando key?????

Oooh I love your banner sweetie, fab colours and it shows perfectly how versatile that gorgeous stamp is.
Your calendar page is stunning too, the hidden door is superb and very very fun.
Huge huggles x x x x
Perfect banner and yes that little key is wonderful. :)
Why hasn't it dawned on me before that I can pinch some of your ideas for my calendar for next year?! Your banner too is gorgeous. I need to get on and craft though now and stop looking at tonnes of amazing inspiration as I need to make my to-do list shorter not longer! :-) xx
What fab makes Karen :-)
Hugs,

I know I'm a pain in the neck but about how big is the square in the middle of this arch? I've been thinking about using this on every page of my calendar and I'd like to put photos in the middle of at least some of them.
Hi Karen, sorry haven't been blog hopping much lately. What a lovely lot of things you have been making, all so diverse. Your calendar is super, the arch does make a great door. The crown box is super too and I have just copied the teddy pattern. I used to make furry teddies/bunnies but that was an age ago. Might give this a bash. Napkin holders and shopping bags whatever next? Love it all - BJ.
