This tin had mints in...one of those freebie advertising ones my hubby seems to get :D
I covered the tin with alcohol inks and added lace across the logo. The little flowers from Tando have been painted with PaperArtsy Fresco Paint with crackle accents on top. The leaves are punched from card. Its the perfect size for holding pins!!! If it looks familiar....I made it to go with my altered tape measure from a little while ago...
Thank you for looking today, warm HUGS xxx

Awe sweetie, what a beautiful job you have done transforming such a nondescript little tin into something very special. Love the way you have matched it to your tape-measure too.
Huge huggles x x x x
Beautiful tin, love it. BJ
This is gorgeous Karen, I love those colours. I've got lots of things in my 'to alter' box that I've forgotten about too! xxx
I'm all about recycling, too, and this seems to be the perfect month to bring out all those recycled projects.
You are lucky. The mint tins I get are printed and embossed. Harder to camouflage that way. Yours is very well done.
this is beautiful loving your tando flowers :) Dxx
The crackle flowers are so pretty Karen and they take your little tin to another level - and of course, I simply can't resist crackle!
Hugs, Juliaxx
