Another fortnight and another letter done for my Altered Dictionary. This time we are playing with the letter 'J'. I have chosen J for JUNIPER. I am not sure if you can eat the berries but I do know that they make a spice out of the tree somehow :D
You can see all the bits of thread and stuff that will be poking out of the book when its closed. I like that!!!!! After painting up my page I went round the edge with this gorgeous mask by Crafty Individuals. These rae lovely to use as they are made by Tando so very sturdy :D
Thank you for popping by my lovelies, Take care, soon be Christmas haha xxx

Hi Karen, great colours and that border is lovely. Juniper berries are edible, used as a spice. Pick the dark blue ones, dry them and crush them when required. We use it in the wild dinners, venison etc.
I like sticky outy bits of thread and ribbon too :-)
Very beautiful page, your dictionary is well progressing sweetie.. this mask and colours are perfect !!! Coco xxx
Ooh I'm loving that stencil, what a fab border it creates - lol I keep forgetting about the CI ones - silly me!!!!!!! Gorgeous page sweetie, the colours are superb and really show off the berries, brilliant work as always darling.

Gorgeous pages again Karen, I shall look forward to having a mooch through it when it's finished as I've loved seeing it so far. xxx
Hi Karen, love your J-page! Had already seen it at the Craft Barn. Will have to bow my head to see what kind of J word I can find. I think it's gonna be a tough one. Hugs Frea
I think you must have forgotten to approve my comment and just replied to my request for HELP instead.
I wanted to say I LOVE your page for the Juniper. I adore the purples and the stencil is super too. Love the white pen work which really sets it all off. Scrummy BJ
I am fairly sure you use juniper berries (dried) in soups and stuff.
Your dictionary pages are super. I love my dictionary and when it is closed it really looks neat. I will start on my J page tomorrow. This challenge is so much fun!!
