WHATS COOKING?

Hi, I hope that all the youngsters out there in the UK got the exam results that they wanted!!!!

I have made a birthday card for a special friend featuring this lovely image from Crafty Secrets (Heartwarming Vintage Collection).  Can you see a little boy this size carrying a turkey/chicken like that???  No, I can't either hahaha!  But he is cute!

 The backing papers are by October Afternoon...just loving their papers at the moment.  I used KATHY'S WAFFLE SKETCH FOR AUGUST for the design.  Kathy has some fabulous sketches over on that blog & a wonderful DT to go with it!!!

The card is for my lovely friend JANICE who is a digital scrapbooking genius and also a wonderful cook...you just have to pop over to see it all!!!

KATHY'S WAFFLE SKETCHES #7 AND 8

Sometimes its just lovely to work from a sketch and KATHY'S WAFFLE SKETCHES are really lovely to work from. Go take a look at Kathy's ever growing list, you are bound to find something to suit your needs!

I needed to make a new home card and so I used SKETCH NO 7. I had it all prepared to stick down when I realised that the elephants from the BG Marrakech papers were upside down.....ARGGHHHH!!!! So I turned the sketch around hahahaha. The lovely little chippie house is by Riff Raff Designs and are so so cute with the little hearts cut out!

My second card is for a wedding. I used SKETCH NO 8 for this one and papers from my scrap drawer!!! For the birds I drew around a chipboard bird from my stash and then made up wings to match!

KATHY'S SKETCH #5 - LAYER IT UP!

For this card I have used Kathy's new sketch #5. She has a lovely selection of sketches for us all to use on her sketchy blog......look HERE! I turned the sketch upside down for mine tho.

For the materials I used some goodies from Bubbly Funks lovely February kit! The colours are a lovely mix of soft greens and reds. Sorry about the pic, its a bit dark XXX

DCM - GET SOMEONE TO MAKE IT!

Jo got us all in a dither with this brilliant dar - get someone to make it for you!!!

I called on my lovely craft friend Gez and asked her is we could do each others!!! She rose to the challenge and after a bit of PM'ing and e-mailing we decided to have a colour theme of green with a touch of purple and the card was to be for a friend. We then decided to use one of Kathy Blacks Sketches to work by. Please pop over there as she has some really lovely sketches you can work with!

The first card is mine and I have used some green patterned paper(no name on the back) that came from a kit. I stamped the words using a lovely stamp by Hero Arts and lightly chalked the main words in purple.

Here is Gezzy's card, isn't it lovely??? I am amazed at how alike our cards have turned out, just goes to show how similar our tastes are!!! For more of her crafty goodies check out her blog here. You will be delighted by her other crafting skills!!!
