April Showers?

Hellooo!  Today I am showing you a journal page about April Showers. mmmmm well, we had glorious warm sunshine in the beginning of the month and then a few days later we had snow!!!!  In some parts of the UK there was a lot of the fluffy stuff!  So I just couldn't resist making a page with snow on it could I? haha

I have tried to keep the colours more Springlike and am hoping that Relaxin' looks like she is relaxing in a snowdrift hahaha!!!!  Loads of doodling on this page too.  Now I am going to do something I have never done before & enter this in 2 challenges....~Stampotique Designers Challenge~ and also for Dawns ~Journal Journeys~

' New Look'? .....I wish haha!

...I wish hahahahaha!!!!!  This is a journal page that I did for the lovely Dawns ~Journal Journeys Challenge~ .  The prompt was 'New Look' which did require a bit of thought as all I could think of was a chain of shops hahaha!!!!  As I was under the weather with a nasty bug I was retired to the sofa so there is lots of doodling on this one!

Autumn means.....

...kicking leaves in bright wellies!!!!  Thats the title of my entry for this month ~Journal Journey~ that the lovely Dawn has organised!  The theme being Autumn.

The legs & wellies are hand drawn and the leaves & letters are from my trusty National Trust mag which is great for cutting up :-D.  I love autumn...the colours and the temperature!!!  I found a lovely quote after I had done my page...

'Autumn is a second Spring when every leaf is a flower' ~ Albert Camus

Journal Journeys 2

Helloooo, the prompt for Augusts ~JOURNAL JOURNEYS~ is Fairies!  I think I may already have shown you a page or 2 with that theme before so I had to put my thinking cap on and also have a nose arounf The Graphic Fairys blog for inspiration -D  Look what I found....A MODERN HOUSEHOLD FAIRY hahahahahaha!!!!!

Now I know she is carrying a rediculous size of super-duper-clean-anything-but-looks-dodgy soap but if it means she will come & deal with my cleaning chores she can use it!!!!!  I tore some strips of paper to act as masks before I blitzed the pages with glimmer mists, glued on the wording & the fairy then just doodled to my hears content...oh & as she is magic she has to have sparkle on her wings hehe!

New- Journal Journey's Challenge

Goodness...twice in one day...thats nearly blogging overload for me hahahaha!!!  I popped over to the lovely Dawns blog  (in my bloglist) and saw that she has started her first challenge blog... ~JOURNAL JOURNEYS~...right up my street at the moment :-D  The theme this month is  orange and pink and I had this page already done but never blogged.  Oh & I haven't done the journalling on it yet!

I think all Mums would understand this one!  I have used misters for the background & a new Tando Mask.  The stamp is by Stampotique.  Hope you like, HUGS xxx
