Let me introduce you to Charlie. Its his birthday today and he has reached the grand old age of 20!!! He is quite a character, extremely stubborn and very inteligent. In fact he shouldn't really be here at all! When he was 6months old he was hit by a car. Luckily for him the vet was newly qualified and very keen. So Charlie survived, complete with a metal plate in his head and pins in his hips. Amazing!
He had a bad stroke 2years ago which left him paralysed in his back legs. This is it I thought and just made him comfy, gave him lots of love and waited. In a few days tho he was up & about and now minces around with his funny walk lol. The vets still only gave him a few months as they discovered he had a bad heart. As he got so distressed taking the tablets (I have the scars) we decided yet again to let nature take its course. He is still with us and as tenacious as ever, managing to stay in charge of the others and us of course!

What a lucky cat you have. My daughter's cat arrived home on the doorstep covered in blood last year after being hit by a car but lived to tell the tale. She has a funny eye now and a few missing whiskers but is non the worse otherwise and is in fact due to give birth within the next week. Naughty puss cat!
