REMEMBER REMEMBER THE 5TH OF NOVEMBER
GUNPOWDER TREASON AND PLOT.
I SEE NO REASON WHY GUNPOWDER TREASON
NEED EVER BE FORGOT.
Gosh....who remember s that one??? Seems ages since I heard it. So G is for GUY FAWKES DAY. I know that everyone calls it Firework Night these days but I needed a G lol.
I found a photo of a beautiful firework display and used that for the background and my inspiration. Behind the face of Guy is some journaling about the dead for which he is famous! I cut the lettering on my trusty Robo and highlighted them with a white pen. I took the photo on the slant to avoid some of the glare!
Now I am down to H. Just had to use HALLOWEEN though I did think about Hannaka to be different!
The lovely papers are by Doodlebug and came in a kit from Bubbly Funk a while back, along with the die-cut pumpkins and ghosts. The pumkins were a very bright orange so I tested a felt pen on the back and found that it came thru to the front. I quite like that effect as it makes the pumpkins look a bit mouldy LOL. Inside the book is a history of the event and inside the flap it says BOO very loudly iyswim
Many thanks for taking the time to look X

lovely entries there Karen.
Ooh these are great Karen. We always call it Guy Fawkes night and it think it is good to include it as it is such a significant historical event. The Halloween one looks like it was fun to do, all that orange and black is fab.
I still say "Guy Fawkes" or "Bonfire Night" and yes I remember the rhyme! These two are fab - the firework photo looks wonderful and I love the idea of BOO under the flap :o)
Karen what artistic pages. I think the Guy Fawkes one is my favourite. This journal is going to be fantastic when it is finished.
Keep up the good work. :)
