I have had a lovely day just playing with the June kit from Bubbly Funk! This is a really fun kit to play with too. As I like to recycle I have used an old oval tissue box. You know the sort....tiny tissues which are no good when you have a cold hehe. I took the top off first and painted the inside pale blue.

This was all a load of fun and I think the little owl looked best as a girlie owl. Kathy, one of the designers over on Bubbly Funk came up with this idea first and so the credit goes to her.....she is so clever at stuff like this! The only thing that didn't come from the kit is the lace which I stuck around the inside to hide the ugly top edge of the box.

To stop my bits lolling around (oops I mean pens etc lol) I made a partition thingy to go inside it.

For those who can't get the kit now (although I think it may still be available) the papers I used are by Sassifrass - Pocket Full of Rosies range. The lovely chippie owl may be Bubbalicious, not too sure.
Thank you for looking, it means a lot to get feedback XXX

Aww, isn't she sweet?! Is that a little apron, too?! Love the touch of lace around the top, very pretty!
