I is for INDEPENDANCE DAY. So it was stars & stripes all the way! I used a couple of those coffee stirring sticks that I had 'borrowed' to make the flagpoles. I stuck some foam tape under the middles of the flags so that they look like they are waving a little.
J is for JANMASHTHAMI, this is a celebration of Lord Krishna's birthday. As I don't know too much about this diety I found a picture of Krishna and worked around the colours in that. The background paper is a gorgeous green paisley from BG Boxer range again.
Thanks you again for looking, have a good day whatever you are doing X

Well, I would never have known that! Not sure I could have come up with a celebration beginning with J. Love the chipboard swirl on there, it looks great with the BG paper!
these are both really lovely :)
These look great Karen - this book is going to be a stunner and such a lovely thing to keep
That green paisley background paper works so well and I love the red ric rac on your stars and stripes.

These are great Karen. The Krishna one is really excellent, the paper matches so well. So when are you going to do W for Wedding lol!
Amazing!
when are you returning the borrowed items?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joanne....I think it was Ellen who gave me the idea for J.
Karen, love the cards you've made. Plus, I have the bunny stamp too, it's so cute. Will find out where I got it from when I get home lovely. Beth XX
