What was also lovely was that we all went for the day to Burley House. For those who don't know, this is where my real rose petal confetti came from. A cousin works as a restorer in the house and when his son was getting married he asked if he could have some rose petals as they were being pruned. What was left over was sent down for us a week later. The scent of these was amazing...you cannot beat beautiful old tea roses for scent can you? I took a couple of pics of these and I can tell you we were all in scent heaven.
The monkees were in fine fettle. I had to get one some sunnies because he just kept wingeing about the sun.....I don't know...its like having kids again. Tho who is the kid here eh (nice answers only please LOL) Anyway they found a lovely sculpture they insisted on climbing and having their pic taken on just for Aunty Kaz!!!!!
