Bookmark Swap!

Hellooooo!!! Over on the Bubbly Funk Forum the lovely Beth arranged for us to have a Bookmark Swap. After much debate, and the final word down to Beth's Martyn, it was decided that we would have a theme of yellow. I have to admit that it is not a colour that I work with often. As an accent yes but certainly not as the main colour. But......its amazing what you can find when you are looking for ideas!!! I just didn't realise that I had any yellow paper & card......lol.....and no I don't have that much stash!!!!! It was tucked in the back!!!!

First up is the lovely bookmark that I recieved from Sam this morning. I think its gorgeous! Its all summery, with lots of flowers and a lovely little dragonfly brad to finish it off. The little beads are fab Sam . BIG thanks you X

This is the one that I made to send to Sam. Unlike Sam I left the back plain. I honestly never thought to do that side as well...sorry Sam X

For the card base - Bazill, layered up with pale yellow paper.
Pattern made using - Tapestry Stamps - Dainty Floral
Chipboard letter - Heidi Swapp
Ribbon - Ribbon Oasis

everything else from my stash.

Thanks for taking a look X

Those both look fab and how nice you both thought of personalising (didn't even cross my mind, I was too busy looking for yellow stuff!).

They are both lovely Karen. If it makes you feel any better I would not have thought to decorate the back either, usually it's just my details sticker on the back of anything.

Oh Karen, I love both the bookmarks. I think that although we all may not have that much yellow in our craft emporium lol, once you see something made up in the colour, it really is bright, zesty and cheerful and a change from the 'ordinary' shades. Love the personalisation too. XX
