Papergirls - Alter A Photo!

This months brilliant competition over on The Papergirls is to alter a photograph!!! Its doubly brilliant because this months comp is being sponsored by my good friend Caroline at Bubbly Funk

My first reaction was 'Oh Lordy!!!' because I have never done this before! But after having a nosey round I realised that I didn't have to pretend to be all technical but to just use some imagination to interpret a pic. PHEW!!!!!

I love this photo of my daughter taken when she was 6months old. It was the very first time that she noticed flowers. I was on my way out and had plonked her (like you do hehe) on the grass while locking the door. I was very impressed that she actually picked the daisy herself!!!

So I really just had to use flowers somewhere, or everywhere in this case!!!! The canvas is only little at 5"x5", which I faffed around with paint on!!! Scrumped and tarted flowers and a bit of stamping and doodling completed it. Took me ages too but I like it!!!! The sentiment is one of my favourites. Mind you...this little cherub is scaring the beejeebers out of her Mum by back-packing round NZ. She has informed me she is doing a free fall this week....arghhhh!!!

Thank you so so much for looking and don't forget I have some BLOG CANDY going on the last post. XXXX

WOW Karen, you've come up absolute trumps with this one. It's different, arty and the flowers work really well, together with your little girl sat in between them all. I love it!! To think she's free falling now in NZ, OMG! XX
