CIRCUS
This one was particularly difficult for me as I never liked them as a child...the clowns were just downright scary & I always felt sorry for the animals!!!! I did take my daughter to one when she was 7 though but all I liked was the mahoosive python they brought out. It made my MIL move faster than I had ever seen her.....she was gone hahahahahaha. But I think that my fear & dislike of circuses must have reflected in my crafting as my postcard is pretty dark.....sorry X
I downloaded the image of the trapeze artistes and then layered up patterned & plain card to make a tent opening. How I wish that penny black was real tho....it was an image I cut off another stamp!!!!

I love the way you have created 'curtains' on your card, that is really effective. I wonder why so many of us are frightened of the circus? Something to do with it being so different from our normal lives? Don't know, but I don't like it either. I went to the Moscow State Circus when we were in Russia and I still didn't like it.

Seems to be a theme of not liking the circus. Clowns are scary aren't they.
I don't think your postcard is dark though and you have done well with the theme - not a clown in sight.
