A COUPLE OF DT PIECES FOR YOU & A BIG MESS !!!
Hi there lovely people! Today I thought I would show you a couple of my recent DT cards & of course the mess that is supposed to be my desk hahahaha
First up is my entry for this week on the BUBBLY SCRUMPTIOUS CHALLENGE BLOG. The theme is
GO WILD
I adore this Leopard stamp by Tanda, it always comes out beautifully & there is so much detail on it. I stamped some paws over the card for the background & then matted the image onto some BG paper.
Secondly this is my piece for TANDO CREATIVE. I was sent a lovely chippie owl to play with. He very nearly became a deceased owl (refer to Monty Python here haha) but he was yanked back from extinction by some gorgeous paper I got in a London Bookbinders. It has real flecks of gold in it!!! The canvas is 5x7" to give you an idea of the owls size. The leaves are held on with copper brads & the little frame is copper too.
As its wednesday I thought I should show you why I am blogging instead of crafting!!!! Its WHATS ON YOUR WORKDESK WEDNESDAY so here you are people, complete with a large black tom cat called Sam who won't budge!!!!
I think thats all folks!!! Thank you so much for taking a looksee. HUGS XXX

I love that stamp too - I think it's a cheetah though, isn't it? ("tear streaks" down the face). Fabby cards m'dear. Hope Sam isn't sitting on anything sharp! Or glittery for that matter :haha:

Fantastic!!! i love that you share your space with the worlds largest cat ;) or is it he's space and he allows you some room??
Hee hee - Sam looks very comfy there - he's clearly trying to organise your diary and you just keep distracting him!!
Looks like a lot of crafting has been going on here!!
Chuckling at the cat - if he stays there too long will he get the Herma treatment????
LOL
The cards are great ... The mess is great and the puddy cat is cute!
Hi Karen. I love your Leopard stamp, that is absolutely gorgeous and I had to laugh at Sam. I have a black puss who looks identical and does just this, sitting on my crafting mat and taking in all thats being done. She was even helping to type my blog this afternoon. Have you tried typing with a cat sat on your keyboard-not easy!!

Ooooh I remember you blogging about getting that fabulous red and gold paper, and I got paper envy over it!
I cannot resist the birdies so your owl is the perfect use of that precious paper, I love him!
I have had swine flu, one of my sons also had it and everybody else in the house has been poorly with something this last 4 weeks, I am just about caught up with my jobs now and have been able to do some crafting and blogging again.
As much as I detest winter I have to say I'm looking forward to lots of winter evenings playing with paper, paint and glue and dreaming up stories for the Land of Shiny without the guilt of thinking I should be outside doing some gardening or something in the evenings.
love
Gini
