R/Dee's Challenge #58 - Up for a brew????

Helloooooo...fancy a brew????  I don't know about you but I could always fancy a brew!!!  The current challenge over on ROSIE-DEE'S CHALLENGE BLOG has been kindly sponsored by Heather over at FRESH BREWED DESIGNS.  The lovely Heather was kind enough to send us a selection of images to choose from which was brilliant as we all like different things don't we?  We also had a colour theme from Rosie...

LEMON, LIME & A DASH OF RIBBON!

I chose a coffee mug which you can find here! Although I am not really into digi-stamping Heather has some lovely designs on offer...go take a peep!  Here is what I did with mine...

I had a go at paper piecing with this one.  I printed the whole thing out twice, using one to make templates with the different sections.  I then cut different papers to pop over the original image, tucking lace & threads in there too!  I glittered the handle & the strip across the 'waist'.  The image was then double mounted onto a white card which I coloured with distress inks.  The sentiment stamp is my own.

Do pop over to Rosie-Dee's and have a go at the challenge.  Its great to use zingy colours when everywhere is all Christmasy hahaha.  HUGS XXX
