Hellooooo....did you all have a lovely Christmas?????  All that preparation and then its over so quickly isn't it?  I have been trying to keep up with my JYC and am only a couple of days behind but thought I would blog while we are all still in the mood for Christmasy stuff haha

23rd......was all about our stockings.  Though as it turned out J had bought me a new one this year...awe!!!

24th...was all about the meaning of Christmas to us personally.

25th...Christmas Day...I made up a little montage of the pics I took that day.  I journaled all about our fabulous day on the tag!

26th...Boxing Day...we spent that day outside, it was wonderful to get the fresh air!!!!  Oh and can you see that adorable teensy shell I found???

Thats it for now but I will be back in a few days with some VERY EXCITING news for you!!!!!  In the meantime, lots of HUGS XXXX

As this is my last post before Christmas I would like to give BIG THANKS to all of you who visit my blog.  You have no idea how chuffed I get when I read all your comments.  I have made some wonderful friends through blogging & treasure each & every one of you. 

Have a wonderful Christmas and I hope that Santa brings you lots of crafting goodies!!!!

Day 17......

Day 18...I have tucked our menu in behind!

Day 19....a departure from the theme as my step-daughter got married!  It snowed, making it an even more special day!!!

Day 20...was all about something unexpected.  This very fluffed up robin posed so brilliantly for me!!!  Perhaps its the same one who posed for Cheryl haha.  There is hidden journalling behind the pic.

Day 21.....we were asked to take a pic in our house so I took a pic of my Christmasy sideboard!

Day 22.....was about making a list of things left to do.....not a lot in my case!

So there you have it....all up to date...for now hahahahaha!!!

Hi everyone!!!!  I do hope that you are keeping warm, snug and safe at the moment.  I LOVE the snow but only if it doesn't interfere with me going anywhere......I just like to have terrfirma under my feet...such a wooss hahahaha

page 12...had to be about a memory of Christmas.  Now I just couldn't resist this photo of Jeremy from last year!!!!!  I got this hat several years ago when we went to Eurodisney just before Christmas & it comes out every year!!!  We were at a family party when this pic was taken hehe

page 13...is all about our favourite song at Christmas!

Page 14.....is all about how we open our gifts on the day.  What routines we have as a family.  I have hidden journalling on the tag!

Page 15...is all about who you will see on the day!!!  Well, with Tamara being on her funnymoon & my daughter at her in-laws it will be just Santa!!!  This gorgeous image is on one of the sheets in the paper pack I am using...isn't he a happy Santa???

Page 16...all about the people who mean a lot to you.  This year I chose ladies for my list.  You all know why.  There are more than this but I only had so much room & wanted to put pics on my page.  haha Kaz is going to kill me for this haha!!!

Well, I think thats all for now my lovelies!!!  Just had a thought though...these aren't pages to be numbered really but days & the date....DOH!!!!

SOON BE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Nearly be time to put away all our Christmas stash won't it?  I don't know about anyone else but mine is never too far away...just in case I need some extra bling or shiny hahaha!!!

Today I thought I would show you a few Christmasy decorations that I have made.  One for myself & 1 for each daughter!

This banner I am keeping for myself as I have promised myself one for years now & finally got round to making it....and very nice it looks as well, even if I say so myself :)

Each pennant is around 6" x 10" so its pretty big & fills one wall, just as I wanted.  Its made from my fave paper this year from My Minds Eye.  There is loads of lace on it & bits of a mahoosive glitter star from a garden centre haha.  Below is the banner I made Vikki after she nagged me for mine haha....cheeky mare!  She doesn't like anything too fussy & is a very traditional girl when it come to her decorations.  So hers is red & green with gold lace.

This canvas was made for a Rosie-Dee Challenge.  I adore this deer from RiffRaff, his antlers are gorgeous.  I used the back of the canvas and after distress inking the inside spritzed it with copper Glimmer Mists.  I used paper to cover the outside & again spritzed.  The reinderr has been chalked then triple embossed & his antlers are covered in copper glitter.  Oh and he had to have a little bell....ahhhh!  Not sure where the tree was from but that has been painted, glossed & glittered too.

This next decoration was for Tamara, my step-daughter.  Its very similar to one that I did for Tando a while back. Its a piece of covered mountboard all glammed up.

JOURNAL YOUR CHRISTMAS - MORE PAGES!!!

As promised here are some more pages of my journal.  For those who are doing this...I have been a bit naughty & done my own thing with the prompts...tut tut!  But I am having so much fun in doing these :)

Day 6...all about memories.  We were asked to divide the page in 2.  I have put the journalling behind the chippie snowflake.

Day 7...the stamps came out for this one!  Written in the card is a HUGE list of things I have to do before the big day :(

Day 8...we were asked what was new this year so I had to mention my banner, which I am so proud of haha

Day 9...ahhh a tradition?  Had to be this film every year!!!!!

Day 10...wrapping paper!  I had loads of brown parcel paper so it was spritzed with rum raisin, copper & gold Glimmer Mists to wrap some small presents!

Hello my lovely bloggy buddies!!!!  I have a few things to show you today.  I hasve used photo's which are pretty special to me for these LO's.  Both the large words are from the TANDO range.

  Yes, this is my Nanny with only 9 of her 11 children.  My Mum is the little one in the front with a white pinny.  I so felt for Nanny as she was constantly pregnant up till she was 45.  She also had several miscarraiges along the way.  She told me that although she loved all her children she would cry when she saw the nieghbouring wives going into town together with just one pram.  She could never do that!!!  But she did live till she was 99 so it wasn't bad for her health, Bless Her!

The 2nd LO is of my daughter when she was 7, in 1992.  That was an awful winter as she was in & out of hospital with a mysterious bowel & kidney infection.  This was taken on a rare day home when we visited Santa to cheer her up.  You can see how pale she is but I wanted to scrap it as it shows her determination to still have fun!  They never did get to the root of the problem & she still has regular kidney infections poor love.

Hi everyone!!!  Being a member of the TANDO CREATIVE design team, I was delighted that Rosie-Dee's Challenge this week was sponsored by Tando.  The theme is

RED, GREEN & a bit of BLING!

I had some lovely Christmasy Tando chippie to hand so I just had to use it for this didn't I?  I swished over the white card with some chalk inks & the same with the image (this was an RAK from my wonderful pal Kaz, thanks honey XXX).  The chippie holly has ben painted & then glossed with red stickles on the berries.  I did the same for the holly on Santas hat.

JYC - pages

oooo I really love doing these hahaha!!!  As promised here are my pages so far but without No1 as thats the manifesto page & a bit boring!!!!

Day 2- we were asked to talk about the weather or maybe make a snowflake.  You can see my attempt at a snowflake in the vellum hahaha!!!  Pretty sad really so I added a few bits to it.  I can't believe that it actually snowed after I did this page!!!

Day 3 - was all about cards & posting.  As this was the reverse of the background above I inked it with DI and then overstamped with a holly stamp.  The envelope is also inked.  The pretty letter stickers are from K&Co.

Inside is a picture of some of the cards I have made this year ( journalling on the back) and also a little book of the new CXhristmas stamps.

Day 4 -was all about our perfect Christmas.  I chose a nostalgic theme this year with journalling on the tag.

Day 5 - all about our advent calendars!!!  I took a pic of my Secret Advent Swap from BubblyFunk forum.  The sleigh is one that I made last year.  Tucked behind is the tag which I write all the different bits I get!!! 

I just couldn't let this pass by withought showing you a pic of my wonderful Advent hanging made for me by Di over at TANDO CREATIVE last year.  It has pride of place once again!!

ooops!!!  Now you know that its last years pic hahahaha!!!

JOURNALLING MY CHRISTMAS 2009

Its that time again folks!!!!  I had such a fun time doing last years that I just couldn't resist joining in SHIMMELLE'S CLASS again this year.  When you are up to your ears making cards & gifts for other people I think its really nice to make something that is just for yourself!!!  I won't be blogging this everyday but will wait till I have a few pages to go if thats ok XXX

Here is my cover...I have gone for gold & bling this year.  The papers are my faves this year by My minds Eye and the gorgeous snowflake chippie is from Tando.  The gold lace has been 'borrowed' from another project (hope I have enough left now haha) and there is gold stickles on the snowflakes.
