I AM A BASKET CASE :)

Well I feel like one at the mo.  I haven't done a lot of crafting for days and just wanted to chop my head off!  In the end it was Fred the wisdom tooth that bit the dust & was carried away in a body bag hahaha!  But I have been working on this gorgeous basket from TANDO CREATIVE. It humungous at 8x6inches.  It been designed with Mothers Day in mind but I can think of oodles of things to use this for!!!

I have covered it with spring-like paper & paint but just imagine it tarted up for Christmas!  As it has sloping sides its asking for dangly charms and pretty lace...whatever takes your fancy haha.  The whole thing comes flat & you literally just slide the pieces together, adding a brad to attach the handle.  Its pretty meaty too as it held the weight of the container of water inside.....can you tell I am impressed yet????

Instead of a brad I tied ribbon round the handle...

When the daffs have died off I am going to use it to store my crafting flowers in, well the ones with long stems anyway.  Thank you so much for looking today, HUGS XXX

What a lovely basket, Karen. It's a gorgeous shape and I love the colours you've used. That Celtic looking pattern is fab.
Love the Daffs too, perfect for cheering us up on another dreary day.

Love the basket. Colours are so pretty. I've daffs in my sewing room window at the mo too. Doesn't it make you feel like spring is just round the corner :-)

You said it hun! ha ha ha. I love your basket and your attempt at flower arranging, not much scope for collecting greenery when you live in a flat though!
