DRESS IT UP - FEBRUARY....(catching up haha)

Helloooo.....I have been making dresses again hahaha  This is from a lovely idea by Margaret which has grown to be a brilliant bit of fun, thank you Margaret XXXX

Once again I have used the template from my lovely blogging friend Gini to create the dress for February.  I still haven't made a wardrobe as some have...not too sure I will as I may mount them all into a huge picture in December.

As this dress is for February there has to be a bit of a love theme don't you think???  It has a corset & a lace skirt but I do think my lady is far too bashful as the skirt is still quite long...maybe she just doens't have the legs for a short skirt hahahahaha!!!

These are so much fun to do so if you fancy making a dress or two please pop over  HERE to see what its all about!!!  I will be getting March's dress up soon so that I am up to date with these.  Thank you for looking today, HUGS to everyone XXX

I love the colours and lace ebellishment you've used, very romantic.
A couple of the other bloggers are planning to hang their dresses garland style in Decemeber. Margaret

Looks like a ball gown to me! It's gorgeous and very well designed. The lace is the perfect addition.

I'm playing catch up, too. I just found your post!

This looks such a lot of fun, Karen. Your February dress looks like the gypsy dresses that were a fashion thing a good few years ago

When I was scrolling down the photo I thought oooo this is a racy red and black number! Then I saw how long the red skirt was and decided this doll must have bad legs or a protective mum! haha

Brilliant dress though Karen. :)

Karen, WOW!! this is absolutely gorgeous! I would love to learn how to make these! I have two little girls that have not out grown their love for all things whimsical...so we are doing paperdolls and fairies and I know they would just love this project!

I will come back later and check it out! I would love to see what you did for January!

Hmmm, looks like she might be a bit of a saucy wench to me, even if the skirt is on the long side! :haha: Fab dress, love the little heart print!

oh what a romantic elegant gown karen me lovely. I love everything about it especially the lace and that gorgeous laced bodice.
It's okay for your lady to have a longer skirt and be bashful... maybe she has fat knees like me...pmsl
