DRESS IT UP - MARCH

ooooo I love doing these you know hahahahaha A little bit of madness in amongst the other stuff...good for the soul...just wish I could wear this one!!!!

Again I have used the lovely Gini's template and as its March & there are daffodils everywhere I have used these for inspiration.  Considering its still a bit chilly at night (do you see a theme of evening dresses coming on here???) I thought my lady should have a sort of coat on...very delicate of course.  Mind you, her shoulders are going to be mighty cold in this hahahahaha  But I expect she will wear her woolly scarf and being really classy.....her longjohns hahahaha

I have used handmade papers for this month and for the underskirt there are a few layers to get the desired effect!  I aimed for the wrapover to be to one side but sadly it just looks wonky!!!

If you want to join in the fashion show pop over to see Margarets blog where oodles of people are playing this game!!!

Thank you for taking a look, HUGS for everyone who pops by XXX

Oooh, how elegant is she going to look in this?! Maybe the longjohns are silk )great thermal capacity you know) just to keep up with the outerwear? Love this, the lace on the wrap looks fabulous!

Oh this is so cute - I can tell you're loving making these dresses, Karen!

And there's no pinning, cutting out, tacking etc either!

What a darling dress and coat. I would never have noticed it was off center had you not said something. I still like the effect. The colors, decorative ribbon, and handmade paper all combine to make this a beautiful and stunning March dress.

Fab dress Karen! I particularly like the paper underneath, very glam, perfect for a gal on a night out (minus the long johns!!) gorgeous wrap and love the detail you've added! Margaret

A stunning dress Karen.
I love it!
It does not look wonky but properly asymmetrical and very vogue! (You are too self critical my lovely!)
Even in her Long Johns she will still be the belle of the ball.
Long Johns seem a very sensible idea to me, I don't know why anyone would think differently...
