DRESS IT UP - APRIL

Helloooo lovely blogging friends XXX

Here is my entry for the DRESS IT UP APRIL challenge!  The lovely Margaret started this and its such great fun!

I am so glad that the weather has warmed up a bit so that my lady can put away her long johns...she didn't think they were very ladylike at all hahahahaha!  But she does need her strapless bra...now do they ever stay up if you have bigger boobs , I know I have to dive to the ladies now & then to hoik mine up hahahahaha!!!

Again, my base is from a template from my lovely friend GINI and again I went for the sleeker version (all wishful thinking haha)  I covered the base with fabric and sewed on loads of beads to the bodice.  I gathered & wrapped satin ribbon round the hips & finished with a lovely bead which was a present form the lovely Gezzy.

Thank you for taking a look today.  Do pop over to the site where you can take a look at all the other frocks!  HUGS XXX

Morning Karen, very glamourous frock you have made, not one for crafting in, as for your strapless bra they say the models use cellotape to hold there boobs so I suggest brown parcel tape for the bigger lady lol have fun ju x

Very elegant dress there Karen. What is not so elegant is hoiking up your boobs! hahaha x You really are a whizz at doing these little outfits.

I'm a bit late getting here to see this fabulous dress. Those beads on the bodice (say that three times fast) are awesome. You do lovely work. Your pattern will make Gini proud. Hope to see you in May. I'll try to get here sooner next month.

Hello my lovely!
Very suave and svelte and also gorgeous!
I am sure I had that material in my bathroom 3 houses back, it's Laura Ashley isn't it? It was and still is very pretty. I remember I left them up when we moved because the whole room matched. I loved that bathroom!

Gorgeous slender look this month, love the detail on the bodice. I'm with Gini, I'm sure I had or still have that fabric, pretty colours and a real summery feel! Margaret
