PLAYING WITH DISTRESS INKS!

Hi folks...I hope that you have had a lovely weekend XXX

I have become a little mojo-less lately, probably due to having been unwell, so I decided to get my favourite inks and a new stamp out for a play haha!

I used a few different distress inks for the background of this card.  I slodged some onto a glass mat one at a time & spritzed with water before swooshing the card over.  I let it dry inbetween colours so that the background didn't get too muddy !

Then I overstamped with a gorgeous Lavina stamp with black stazon.  I coloured the stamp in using distress inks and added a touch of glossy accents on the windows.

I then went round the edges with another colour before mounting onto the base card.  I was really pleased with this effect and was surprised that the colour I used for the background didn't interfere with the image colours.  Thank you for looking today, HUGS XXX
