OCTAGONAL PRETTINESS!

Hellooooo its Monday again....where does the time go these days...soon be Christmas hahahaha!!!!

Today I am going to show you what I did with a gorgeous octagonal frame & stand from TANDO CREATIVE Its comes to you all ready to decorate and assemble, stand and all.  I love the shape of this one, especially the wiggly inside...well a wiggle is good for us isn't it? hahaha

For anyone who bought this months Craft Stamper there was a very pretty box by  Hels which used a crackle paint technique.  Very clever it is too and sooo easy.  It just uses PVA and water and acrylic paint on top!!!  I have never been successful with the self crackling stuff so imagine how delighted I was that this worked for me hahaha!  So I used periwinkle & old cream acrylic paints for the base of the frame and then my favourite Ophelia stamp for the picture.  As for precious...I am still working on a good reason why I chose the word, but if truth be known then its because the colour matched in hahahaha!!!

By the way...do pop over and find which STOCKISTS stock this gorgeous range of chippie.  Oh and look HERE for the beginnings of the new storage that Di is designing.  Very excited about this!!!

Have a good week and thanks for dropping by, HUGS XXX

I still have to try thit technique but it sure looks like it worked I thought it would be very difficult putting the paint on the glue though?

Love Dawn xx

Like you, I never have good luck with crackle paint. I tried using a clear glue and acrylic paint, but that didn't work, either. Sure do like the result you got on this one.
