DRESS IT UP - September

Its a new month and that means a new frock for the DRESS IT UP CHALLENGE!  It seems such a long time ago that the lovely Margaret asked us to take part in this challenge and now I have nine lovely little dresses for my canvas!!!!  Here is my September dress, I have gone with an autumn feel...

Once again I have used Gini's amazing template & gone for the fuller skirt this time. While I was having a rummage in my scrap bag I found a bit of fabric covered in berries & knew I just had to use it somehow!  Inspired by this fabric I stamped blackberries all over the dress & watercoloured & glossed them.  I gathered up the fabric to make an overskirt, adding ribbon & a flower with a green gem in the centre.

I have taken a pic of all my dresses so far but have no idea of my favourite !!!

Just 3 more to go now.  Thanks for stopping by, HUGS XXX

Devine Karen I could see myself wearing that blackberry dress - in a bigger size of course. haha. To pick a favourite would have to be this months' or the green one with the white edging.

:)

The hem detail on this skirt practically blew me away. What a lovely detail. The over skirt is perfect as the inspiration for this dress, too. You always add so much detail and layering to your dresses. It would be hard to choose a favorite.

Beautiful autumnal dress Karen!
After an outrageous amount of pondering I have a runner up favourite dress which is January's snowflake one, it's chic and ice queeny and I love it.
Second place goes to March's green asymmetric lace affair. It is so vogue I can imagine Audrey Hepburn in it!
First place goes to May's pink delicate confection with the wonderful red cross over straps, beautiful flowers and green hem of loveliness!
One of the things I love about your dresses are all the real dress design elements.
Come on Karen my lovely, you must have a top three favourites surely???
