SNAILS & FLOWERS!

Hi everyone!!!!  I am busy working on another big project so I thought that I would show you a couple of cards that I made recently.  The 1st one is for my hubbies 11 yr old Grandaughter.  She soooo wants a land snail, tho tbh I am not sure why!!!!  Most girls want a hamster or even a pony surely!  Anyhooooo I came up with a snail card to give to her for her birthday...

I have to say that this was a lot of fun to make & it took me away from paint and glossy stuff for a while.  This next one is for a lovely Bubblyfunk friend, KATHY...who is an amazing crafter who comes up with some lovely ideas.  Do pop over to look at her blog & her SKETCHFILE BLOG is sooo full of inspirational sketches!

I used a new Prima stamp for her card...isn't she pretty?  The flowers are a mish-mash of ones from my stash & die cut ones with glitter added.

Thank you for looking today my lovelies, HUGS XXX

You are SO creative. I simply don't have the eye for card making, and probably wouldn't send them if I made them. I think this is the first time I've actually analyzed a card, and all the rich of the second one was incredible. I was particularly taken by that decorative border punch.

Your snail is SO inventive. You really had your thinking cap on for that one. I know she's going to love it.

There is nowt so funny as folk, and I think your step granddaughter sounds a fascinating young lady.
I don't know if they smell though?
I'm only saying because I decided at a similar age that I HAD to keep some woodlice, OMG they stink to high heaven! Who'd have thought such little critters could make such a big pong; but they do.
I hope land snails are stinkless :-)

Your rendition of a snail is fabulously friendly so everyone is going to want to keep them now!
He looks like a George, am I right?

Kathy's card is full of shiny charm, love it Karen!
