Awe...its so sad that this is the last dress :( I have so enjoyed doing these! Thank you so much Margaret for inspiring us all to do this, its been a really fun & different challenge for 2010.
I was going to show you all the dresses mounted onto a canvas wasn't I? Well.....they are sitting on a canvas next to my keyboard & I am just not happy! They look all wrong, even though I have changed the colour of the canvas a few times hahaha. So I have decided to make bunting instead and I PROMISE I will show you when its done. It will look great along the wall of my craft room. Now I am waffling.....here is my last dress....boooo hoooo
I have used Christmasy paper and the holly is all stamped, coloured & cut out. I love this little stamp by Papermania...its come in really useful! Please pop over to Margarets Blog to see more fabulous designs.
Thank you for taking a look today my lovelies, HUGS XXX

Gorgeous, love the sparkle on the baubles and the holly frill is spectacular (although her dance partner might not think so - bit prickly on the ankles in ballroom hold!)

OMG!! This is gorgeous. The paper you used is fantastic, and the holly is perfect for the trim. I can only imagine how long it took you to cut these out. WOW. I can't say it enough how much I like this dress right down to the red trim on the bodice. This is one clever beauty.
Karen, your dress is beautiful! I love the shape and, of course, the red ribbon!

A beautiful christmas finale for a dress, love it, the bunting is such a good idea. So far I have made a wardrobe that I don't want the dresses hidden away in, I currently have them on an unpainted white artists canvas, but initially I didn't like all the colour clashes and competing designs that seemed to make each dress less than somehow, so I have left it unglued and it has grown on me over the last. But now I can't decide whether or not to take off the metal hangers before glueing them down!
Really looking forward to seeing your bunting though!
