Art Doll

Hellooo...ever had one of those days when you just want to do something for you???  I had one yesterday....no wedding stuff and no DT stuff...just for me :-D  So I did something I have never done before and I made an Art Doll.  I had so much fun & it was a real distraction from the sadness I was feeling.  There is a new challenge blog aroundcalled  ~CRAFT ROOM CHALLENGE~ and this is for them...

I found the template on the net & saved it ages ago but, being a numpty, forgot to write down where I got it from so I can't credit it...but its fab isn't it?  I used Mona's face & tarted glammed her up with some glittery eye-shadow & lippy haha!  There is lots of sticking, stamping & beading going on on her.  I reckon she looks a cross between a Goth & a try-hard Moulin Rouge girl hahaha!

Do pop over & take a look at the other fabulous entries and a BIG thank you for coming to see this today, HUGS XXX

What a fun project. Nothing quite like a good crafting session to lift the spirits.

Sorry you are feeling sad perhaps a little more me time will cheer you up. That's the downside of being a skilled crafter you are expected to do all the wedding stuff not long now.

Your doll is totally stunning, from her socks up to the top of her glammed up face. Thank you for sharing her with us at Craft-room challenge. Thank you for putting our logo on your side bar, we ask people to the shop logo and a link to http://www.craft-room.co.uk/ to be eligible for the prize draw. Hope you do not mind my mentioning this and that we see you again. XOXO Zoe

Love this doll. I also downloaded the template years ago, but it died when my old computer died, so I can't remember, either. It may have been Milkwood or something like that. Anyway, you did a spectacular job making this cutie. I love it.

Karen, I love your doll!
It was the same for me, doing something only for fun: it always works!
I think your template came from here
