JUNE'S CALENDAR

Blimey...it June already...half way through the year.  That means its halfway to Christmas again hahahaha!!!!!  Although I am very busy with other stuff and haven't managed to do any challenges lately (I really miss those )  I have managed to keep this one up!   Well, its a sort of diary for this year as its a special year in our family, with my daughters wedding on a countdown now!  Pop over to ~THE KATHERYN WHEEL~ to see what its all about, its never too late to join in. Anyway here is Junes pages...a seaside sort of theme this time.  Mind you the weather is definitely not seaside weather here hahaha!

The rhyme by D.R. Benson reads...

I simply can't understand
Why swimsuits are in such demand.
They're soggy and damp,
Bind like a clamp
And hold about three pound of sand!

haha...reminded me of when I was a kid playing on the beach....the sand just got everywhere...and I mean everywhere!!!!

Here are May's filled in pages, there has been a lot going on...

I had a fantastic weekend away with some crafting buddies, lots of wedding stuff days (making all the invitations, cutting out bridesmaids dresses etc).  A few civic duties as my hubby is Deputy Mayor this year...a good chance to really dress up eh?  The bad hair days refer to the unwanted guests in it!!!!!!  I do know where they came from now so avoidance tactics are in operation!!!!  Mustn't forget the good old sofa days which I couldn't manage without at all!

So there you are, another month over.  June is going to start with a bang for me as I am demo-ing the fabulous ~TANDO CHIPBOARD~ at  ~THE CRAFT BARN~ this weekend.  This will be my 1st time at this sort of thing and its a bit daunting and scary but I am also very excited too!  So if you are around one of the days do pop by and say hello :-D  Take care, HUGS xxx

These May flowers are SO much better than the ones I used. I am in awe of all the color associated with these flowers, too. Loved the "wedding stuff," and as always, loved the "sofa days," too. My days of art have been SO uninspiring, I should probably use that same tactic, although I don't really have a sofa. All in all, these are really lovely pages and June's beach theme looks like lots of fun.
