New Baby for a Special Mum!

Hellooooo from a very sunny & hot Cornwall :-D  I was asked to make a special card for a young friend who has just given birth to a beautiful little girl.   The card had to be special because the new Mum is blind....I think she may be able to make out really bright colours tho.  This got my thinking cap on I can tell you...

remembered that years ago I had made a card for my Mum with knitting on so I got out the needles & some lovely bright lambswool & started clickety-clicking, then transfered the piece to a couple of coctail sticks with a bead on the ends.  The lettering is heavily embossed so that Gemma can feel them & I added some lace & a big bow to finish!  Its all very touchy feely for her.

Thank you for taking a look today, HUGS xxx

Thanks for the offer of fabric.....ooh yes please. If you work on there being a pillow size amount of cotton/poly cotton fabric that is enough to make a dress...if a little bigger it makes one of the larger sizes. Just email me for more details if needed at wipso@toucansurf.com
Many thanks,
A x
