Colourful hens!

Hi there!  Just a quick post to show you a card I made for my step-daughter.  She badly wants to get some hens but her hubby says no!!!  Some people are no fun are they hahahaha!  I adore hens and could watch them all day!  Anyway I made her a card covered in hens ...

The hen stamp is by Chocolate Baroque and has been coloured with copics then clear embossed.  One stamped background and a piece of string and voila!

ooooooo Over at ~The Craft Barn~ there is a massive sale going on...lots of bargains to be had for a week only!!!  PLUS....there is a new challenge starting tomorrow with a £20 voucher on offer :D  I know that some of my blogging buddies out there would be interested in this as its theme is 'Colouring Techniques' :D

Thank you for taking a look today, HUGS xxx

What a delightful card - I'm sure she'll love it (and perhaps it will convince her hubby that hens are so cute) x

Well, I don't like hens but sister keeps them in France and she would love this!!! I do think your card is totally fab though - despite preferring to EAT hens - and I love all the stamping and the glorious coloured hens. Personally, I think someone should just buy her a couple of hens, oh and you'll need a boy to keep them company too.

What super hens, much easier to look after than the real thing - LOL. Thanks for you comment on my School ATC, now I'll HAVE to write on the back of them!! Sure I can remember some stories. Thanks BJ

The hens are gorgeous and I've never seen copics covered in clear embossing before but what a interesting and pretty twist for copics!
I want to try pan pastels as they are so much quicker that distress inks and a sponge applicator, ouch about the expense of them though.
Maybe for Xmas...

Love your anchor and circus tag as well!
Hope you're having a good week :-)

P.S. We have hens, females only, and they are noisy.
If she lives a good way away from her neighbours they are OK but if not then they'll be noise pollution for her neighbours...
Just saying...
