Oil Pastels?

Hi!  Have you ever done something that you wish you could go back & change???  Or even wish that you hadn't done it at all??? hahaha!  Here is mine...

I even had trouble uploading it hahaha!!!  This is another page for The Craft Barn's Calendar Challenge, this time working with oil pastels...totally new to me!  Others use them for backgrounds but I had a go at doing a picture.  But saying that, these oil pastels are really vibrant & easy to blend.  I mean to play with them some more.

I have done a small picture of St Michaels Mount in Cornwall (I am amazed it looks like it too :D ) using 3 colours and blending with my fingers. I found that for this it was as easy as using a paper stump. I masked off an uneven shape before I started colouring, then went round with a coloured pen. I edged the card with a mix of distress inks.

From The Craft Barn I used:

Oil pastels in: cobalt blue, burnt ochre & white
Calendar

Our special off this week

Thank you for taking a look today, HUGS xxxx

Whoa! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a completely different subject but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors!
