Tando Book Week

Hellooo!  One of the reasons that I love using chipboard is that there are always new ideas being introduced.  This week we are all having a go at decorating BOOK COVERS designed by the very talented *Neil Walker* for Tando.  He has brought out several designs which consist of front & back panels (plus decoration pieces) plus a spine.  An absolute MUST if you love your journaling!  You can use them to cover an old book like I did or make up your own book and bind as you prefer.  Here is my girly version...

I used PaperArtsy Fresco paints throughout and added some crackle stamping to the back.  The centre circle has a stamped sentiment and then that & the outer piece have been coated with clear glitter paint.  The butterflies aren't part of the kit but are part of our Mini range.  I have painted these then added glossy accents, adding the beads & wire while it was still tacky.  The covers have been put onto an old book about Springer Spaniels that I have had for yonks.  I have never wanted to get rid of the book at all and am going to keep the gorgeous pics of the puppies intact.  But the rest is to be painted and used as a diary.  Here it is naked...

Why don't you go and check out the other book covers available *HERE* and see what the Tando DT have done with them *HERE*. HUGS XXXXXX
