Hi-Di-Hi !!!!!!
When the Craft Barn design team were asked to work with the prompt 'A Gift of Time' there was a little panic as we all thought about clocks!!! Anyone who has followed my blog for a while will know that I have done my fill of clocks for a while haha!!! BUT we were wrong...we were to work with calendars!!!
A desk calendar is always an acceptable present and I have made one using the Tando Creative Mini Theatre which is free standing. Firstly I glued all the upper sections together and painted them with Fresco Paint in Ice Blue before adding PaperArtsy Crackle and then Very Berry on the top. The back piece has been covered with some patterned paper (there is lots of choice in the shop) and gesso'd to dull it down. The 2 sections were then glued together. I added some leaves punched from a piece of the leftover patterned paper and glued them to the top under some mulberry flowers. The calendar was attached with 3D foam. When the calendar runs out it can easily be replaced with a new one.
Thank you so much for popping by, HUGS xxx
