Granny Gibson's Brag Book

Helloooo!  Now you are wondering who Granny Gibson is aren't you???  When I was growing up there was a local lady of certain years who everyone called Granny Gibson :-D  She was a real  Granny to my best friend but it was also a term of endearment as she was one of those women who was always there for you, such a gem!  Anyway my friend has just become a Granny herself and its amusing us that she now has the title hahaha!!!!  Its 'accordion' week over at The Craft Barn blog so I have put some photo's of her and little Tommy into a little book for her handbag.

Unfolded...

When you open it up...I know I don't do cutesy but this seemed ok...

- The finished size of this accordion book is 10x10cm. Cut the plain card as follows:
cover - 21x10cm. Scor two lines in the centre by measuring 10cm from each end.
Accordion - one piece 18x9cm, one piece 19x9cm. (the larger piece will overlap & attach to the smaller piece) Score at 9cm intervals to make valley and mountain folds.

- Decorate the accordion as shown. Decorate the cover as shown. Use the Tando Ink Splatters Mask and Fresco Paint in Snowflake on the outside of the cover. For the sample PaperArtsy Fresco paint has been applied with an old credit card and a pencil. Rub the Sahara Sand round all the edges.

- attach the accordion to the right hand side of the inside cover. Cover the top section with the same card as the cover. Onto white card stamp and colour the S.W.A.L.K. stamp and cut out. Attach to the inside left of the cover and also to the accordion.

- Colour the Tando Bunnies and Heart using Versamagic Chalk and glue onto the cover along with a computer generated title. Attach some ribbon all the way round to make a fastening.

Thank you for popping by my lovelies, HUGS xxx
