Inchie Box inspired by Kaffe Fasset

Hi lovely people!  I consider myself lucky that I got to see the Kaffe Fasset Exhibition *HERE*  a little while ago.  What a gorgeous riot of colour!!!!  For those that like pale shades this was not the place for you hahaha!!!!  I just had to buy some of his fabric that was on sale there and came back all inspired. Over at Tando Creative  this week we are all about *INCHIES* so I added them to this little box done 'a la Kaffe' :D

I used acrylic paint throughout and randomly stamped a flourish over the inchies which I put on top.  The whole box was then given a coat of PaperArtsy Gloss Glaze which gives a light sheen which you can see in the pic below.  I added raised dots with a My Paper World Gloss Gel pen in Violet.

The inside is just as bright...

If you are not familiar with Kaffe's work and love a bit of colour do Google him.  He does amazing tapestries, knitting and patchwork.  Just take a look at this brightness...

 and this quilt...

want something more subtle?  This is a section of a needlework floor rug...

Thank you for popping by today!  Add a little colour to your world xxx
