Rosie-Dee's Challenge #39

I am embarrassed to admit that I have been neglecting Rosie & Dee's challenges lately as I have been up to my eyes in other stuff but as soon as I saw the theme I had a lightbulb moment hahahaha.....

"This week we're continuing our colour combo month along the lines of Turquoise and chocolate. Yummy colour combo if ever I heard of one!"

I have had these 2 gorgeous chippie birds perched on my desk for days now and I had already thought to make some sort of picture with them. The colours are fairly soft so I hope that they qualify. Perhaps as pale torquoise & milk chocolate?????

The papers are BG marrakesh and the lovely birds are by Buzz & Bloom. I couldn't resist giving them both some bling hahahaha.

Rosie-Dee's Challenges are also looking for a DT. So if you are interested take a look -here- to see what you have to do!!

Thank you for taking a look today.....happy crafting, HUGS XXX

Wow!!! I love this Karen. Those chippie birds are just gorgeous, even though they look a bit posh!!!!
The colours you've used are great, the pale version of chocolate and torquoise is definitely for me. Just love it!

Is it just me or does the one on the left have rather fat legs for a bird? :haha: Lovely wall hanging Karen, the sentiment is a good one to have around.

These birds have to be the most poshest, swankiest birds I've seen to date, hee hee. Lovely card Karen and lovely subtle colours too. XX

It's a beautiful picture and the birdies are so cute.

In answer to your question the stamped images are SU but ones that I purchased years ago when I was first introduced to them.

Hi Karen,
You have been busy! I just LOVE this piece AND the cup cake pin cushion AND your heart tag.:)
The colours and composition of all of them are just gorgeous.
Those necklaces for those snooty birds are just the perfect touch!
Lovely crafting my dear!
I've been looking at those birds trying to imagine what kind of a conversation they are having. I reckon it's some sort of one upmanship conversation revolving around them each thinking their legs are the perfect shape and size - hmm, if I think of something I'll have to come back :).
I'm fairly certain that DT stands for Design Team and not withdrawal symptoms from something wicked, so I'm wishing you every success with your application.
Happy crafting and thank you for visiting me!
Gini xx

My husband helped and we came up with:-

Lofty Bird: My dear, those worms have gone straight to your thighs.

Vertically challenged Bird: But Darling, scrawny legs are SO last year.
