BUBBLY SCRUMPTIOUS #7 - Grandparents!

Hello at the start of another week.  Where does the time really go?  If someone knows do tell me :)

The BS Weekly Challenge went live yesterday and the theme is GRANDPARENTS.

We all have or have had Grandparents.  Or maybe we are grandparents ourselves.  They play such a huge roll in our lives.  My Gran taught me to knit, crochet, do patchwork, make rag rugs....in fact she encouraged me to all sorts of crafting, most of it before I was 12!!!  OMG she must have had oodles of patience hahahaha.  For my entry I didn't choose her as I have no decent picture of her.  But I chose to pick another Grandma....my mother!!!  I have made a 6x6 layout of her with my niece Millie.  Its to go into a little scrapbook I am making for Millie.  Not sure when she will have it but behind the pic is a tag giving all sorts of info about her Nanny.  I plan to do a LO about all the family in this way. I would have loved this for myself.  So much information is lost with each generation isn't it?

Enough waffling.....

You still have time to enter our MONTHLY CHALLENGE of HOUSES.  The new monthly challenge starts this sunday.  Thank you so much for taking the time to look...LOVE & HUGS XXX

This is just beautiful Karen. What a lovely idea. You are so right. We do loose so much information with each generation and we don't always realise until it's too late. Your niece will treasure this.

Yes, Yes, Yes! to the sadness of us losing too much of our family history, so this is absolutely brilliant of you Karen to do this. Remember to make one of yourself as well though, so you can be remembered in the same way, perhaps some other family members could do some of the journaling about you if you do the art?
The same thing happens with whomever takes the photo's in the family - there are often very few photo's of that person in existence.

Did you decide what you are going to do with all those tags you made?
