TANDO GOODIES!

Brrrr.... you all still shivering like me???

I would like to thank all those who made comments about my journal.  Its still sitting on my sideboard being dipped into, soon to be put on the shelf with last years!!!

after all the Christmasing its been nice to get back to some 'normal' crafting.  I have been working on some stuff sent from TANDO and I have been LOVING it haha.

First I worked on a lovely set of Home Sweet Home pieces.  I used BG Sugared papers for this picture.  I rubbed some stickles over the flowers & hearts.  I am amazed how far it makes stickles go doing this & its much more subtle I think!  After I had covered the words & the house I didn't like th paper so I rubbed ink over that.  I was pleased with the result as it still showed the pattern thru & was a better match anyway.

Secondly I have worked with a Key To Your Heart mini book set.  Well, its not too mini as the whole thing measures over 6x4inches.  Every fibre of my being was screaming to make this super girly as its such a feminine shape but I think Jeremy may have raised an eyebrow or two don't you?  I alternated with red & beigy papers and added black soot distress inks.  The key & lock have been utee'd and then stamped while still wet.  I added string round the 'handle' and feather & beads to the chain.

I have yet to do the soppy journaling in this one haha.  Thank you for looking today, take care & stay warm, HUGS XXX
