TAG IT ON #42

Hello from a dismal Cornwall today :(  At least we haven't had those storms but then I love a good storm!!!
Today I am showing you my tag for this weeks TAG IT ON CHALLENGE .  The lovely Frankie asked us to use ALCOHOL INKS & ACETATE this week and I got so carried away I nearly forgot to use a stamp.....ooooops!!!

I used a pice of corrigated cardboard for the base of this, painting it with coloured acrylic then a light coat of white.  I attached my piece of inked acetate and then added flowers & leaves.  The stamp is from a selection of freebies that I got from the retreat I went to so thank you to whoever donated those XXX

Thank you for looking today, HUGS XXX

This is gorgeous, Karen. The inks look like a summer garden, I love it. You've inspired me to get my inks out again and have a play.

ahh great idea Karen - I was wondering how you managed to get such good coverage on a piece of corrugated card - I didn't spot the acetate straight away dohhh

What a superb take on the theme! I love the texture of the corrugated tag, which makes the alcohol inks on the acetate stand out even more. Great idea with the acrylic paints too. Thanks for taking part over on TIO this week with my challenge as guest designer.

I have corrugated cardboard. I have acetate. I have alcohol inks. I may just have to try this technique. I really love the results and would never have seen the transparency had you not mentioned it.
