Retreat Suitcase???

Hello lovely bloggers!!!!  As you may have read from my previous post I have been on a crafty retreat with my BubblyFunk Forum pals.  We had a fabulous time as usual full of fun & laughter....THANKS GIRLS!!!  If you are interested we went to  TOAD HALL at EATON MANOR in Shropshire!  Gorgeous spot & amazing facilities!  Anyway... I took some stuff to play with while I was there...a little 9inch wide suitcase.  Its made of thick card & I am amazed at the battering with paint, water & sprays that it handled.  Bet you can't spot the deliberate mistake? hahahahaha

I love the leather handle :-D

The pen around the name plate has come out a bit bright on the photo...its hardly visable irl.  Its from ~TANDO CREATIVE~ of course haha!  The butterflies are from a large plate from Elusive Images, which I am sad to say is no more :-(  They have been painted & then glittered.  I put the mahoosive one on the inside...

So now I have a little case to put my journalling pens in!!!!  oooo have to show you this little lady...I won her in the raffle we had!  She was made especially by the lovely Sally out of a pair of socks!

Isn't she cute???? Thank you for dropping by to take a look today.  Oh and the deliberate mistake if you didn't notice was that I did everything upside down on the top hahahahaha!  Too much pimms I reckon hahaha, HUGS xxx

I have good news for you - most of the Elusive Images plates are now available through Glenda's new venture (Chocolate Baroque) and the patchwork butterfly is one of them so you can consider it a current stamp again :o) Fab suitcase, love the fact you did the inside too. Cute monkey, love the pink button eyes!

This suitcase is so good in real life as Kaz says, the colours are beautiful and look really good together.
Have you not named your monkee yet Karen? More to the point is she back with you yet?

What a fab case this is Karen - and your monkey looks very much the "seasoned traveller" posing alongside it!

I was totally impressed with this suitcase, both inside and out. You did a really good job of decorating it. I had trouble seeing what your intentional mistake was, even after you told it. I finally saw what you were doing.
