Tando 3rd Birthday Bloghop!

Hello...did you all enjoy the retailers bloghop that Tando Creative organised for you?  There were some amazing prizes!!!!  We are ending our celebrations over at ~Tando Creative  Blog~ with our own DT BLOGHOP!  There is a special prize to be had this time :D  I hope that you have enjoyed our week of fun and hopefully managed to grab a prize :D  For the bloghop we decided to revisit some of the earlier Tando chipboard.

If you are hopping:
You should have come from my lovely friend ~Kaz~
Go off to see  the fabulous  ~Joanne (Angelnorth)~  next.

One of the 1st pieces that I worked on 3 years ago was a large owl on a canvas. ( Isn't it funny how you look back on your work and just cringe inside, even though you loved it at the time? hahahahaha!!!!! )  This versatile owl was launched on 1st November 2009!!!!  I used the same size canvas and had another go at it...3 years later and this is what I came up with...

...and there is the one from 3 years ago, though he does look like he is stuck in the headlights!  Of course you may prefer it  :D ....

Thank you for hopping by today, HUGS xxx

Hi Karen, I think they are both amazing. I think It's wonderful looking back on old projects, it shows how much we've progressed with our hobby (obsession) lol.

They're both fun but I definitely prefer the eyes on the recent one and the neutral colours look fab!

Hi Karen, I have a bit of a soft spot for owls so love both of these. The colours on the second owl are amazing. Is that a paper? Or a trade secret? Ha ha. Love the little poem.

Thanks so much for sharing your old canvas along with your latest edition. I agree completely with your last comment though, in that some may prefer your older one; it's all in the eye of the beholder. As crafters though, we like to think our style has progressed. I'm still waiting for mine to do so but I'm enjoying the journey anyway :-)

Your old owl is nothing to cringe about, more "fun" than the "wise" new owl but both are delightful !

Loving the owl! Two very different projects, both are fabulous. If I had to choose a favourite it would be the more recent one - I love the more delicate colours. But as I said, both are fab! xx
