ALTERED DICTIONARY - M

A fortnight has flown by and it that time again...Alpha Challenge time!!!  If you haven't taken part its never too late.  Pop over *HERE* to see what its all about :D  The main idea is to use a dictionary in some form...mine is a large one.

As my book is all about fruit, my choice for 'M' was a no brainer for me!  I adore Mango Chutney so went with Mango.  Please feel free to laugh at my attempt to draw one......hubby reckons that mangoes are yellow hahahaha!  No matter who is right its done now :D

As there are plenty of pages for 'M' I have made up a pocket which I stitched around to 'tether' it.  The recipe came curtousy of the BBC website...always a good place for recipes these days!  Sharwoods provided the pic of the sacred bottle haha!  For those who love this chutney too here is the recipe...

This challenge runs all year, once a fortnight and there is a prize draw just for entering.  If you don't fancy it its still worth going to look at some of the entries...there are some very talented peeps out there!

Thank you for taking the time out to look today, please leave a comment if you popped by, HUGS xxx

Noooooo, not mangos!! :-( I can't be doing with the smell of them :-)
I do love passionfruit and mango icecream though if that's any consolation :-)
Your pages are brill and so inventive with those vintage tags and the photo which is perhaps torn from a magazine and the other photos. There's also love for that pocket, which is mega cute.

I popped onto your blog for a shufty and certainly didn't realise the fortnight had gone by already!!! love your Mangos and they are the right colours. Your pocket is great too. Now all I need to do is find a special day between MA and ME which kinda leaves Mother's Day out :( Shame. BJ
