Its Alpha Challenge time again and this week its the letter 'B'. For my fruit dictionary its B for Blackberry. I could have gone for Boysenberry or Blackcurrant (amongst others) but I wanted to use a Blackberry Fairy and her song for my page. I have an old Flower Fairies book by Cicely Mary Barker and the images are beautifully painted. I scanned the picture and wrote out the song.
The background has been roughly brayered with Fresco Paint in Stone. Apart from some stamping around the edge the rest is doodled & hand written.
