Watercolour Week

My name is Karen and I love using my watercolour pencils hahahaha!!!!!  But...I don't really do cute so this is very different for me.  I have used a Mabel Lucie Attwell stamp set from Katy Sue Designs for a little 1st birthday card for my step-granddaughter.  She has an older (just) sister who is two and I don't think it will be long before they are whispering together like this...plotting and scheming haha!!!

I have used Derwent Inktense for all but the skin.  Now I love these pencils but I do wish they would bring out some watercolour skintones!!!I used a very watered down Distress Ink in Victorian Velvet in the end.

Just had a thought...when I was little I had a set of hankies with these on them!!!  Thank you for popping by!  HUGS xxx

Derwent Inktense Watercolour Pencils - Apple Green, Peacock Blue, Mustard, Cadmuim Orange, Sun Yellow, Carmine Pink

This is really sweet - it has a bit of a vintagey Mabel Lucy Atwell feel about it

Karen - I tried to visit here via the message you left on Kaz's blog, but when I clicked on you it came up with the following link instead

I was surprised to see this card on my blog feed - not your usual style at all - see how versatile you are! It's a top card though for a bubba xx

Cute image, great card! If you resort to Distress, Tattered Rose makes an excellent skin tone, BTW. Have you suggested to Derwent that they should introduce some new colours? They might do it if they know there's demand.

Such a cute image Karen and I have such a hard time stamping with this stamp. I have these pencils now and will definitely use them. Such a sweet card Karen.
