AUGUST CHALLENGE for Tando Creative

Helloooo!  Its challenge time over at the *Tando Creative Challenge Blog* again.  The theme for the whole of August is

'CRAZY LAYERS'

I have gone a bit Moroccan this month with the help of some new *MOROCCAN TILES* that Tando have released.  You get the frame as well as the tiles so they are very versatile.  I just love the shape.  I used them with one of the *ARABIAN ARCH* sets to make a sort of market montage.

You can see the new tiles in the back of the arch.  I took the tiles out of the frame and painted them up.  The frame was painted and glued to the backboard of the arch and then trimmed it.  The tiles were then 'touched' with some silver paste before gluing back in place.

I built up the different levels of the arch and then adorned it with bits I found in my stash.  I knew those little terracotta pots would come in handy someday :-D  Here is the nekkid stuff...

Our rules are very simple for our challenges but do check them out.  You can pick your own prizes if you win too so come and have a go.

Thank you for popping by, Take care xxx

Lovely project Karen, the colours are fabulous
As I know you share a love of interesting doors, I'm quite surprised you didn't make this into a beautiful and intriguing doorway.....
