This week the dare was set by Keryn:
'Hi, it's Keryn here and it's my turn to Distress you all, or at least your cards with this weeks dare. You can make a card for any season, any holiday, any occaision but you need to use either a fingernail, curled edges, sandpaper, tearing, anything you like really as long as looks like it's had a fair bit or wear and tear '
This made me think of tearing mulberry paper, which led me to remember some 'safari' styles that I had been playing with a while ago! Would love to go on a Safari wouldn't you??? Anyway..... the background paper is gorgeous 'Donna' by Melissa Frances, which I got from Bubblyfunk. This paper already has a distressed look but I sanded it even more. The zebra stamp is from a Judikins cube called 'African Safari'. I mounted this onto a couple of layers of torn Mulberry paper. Then added some narrow ribbon and a bead.
Thanks for looking X

Gorgeous card Karen. xx
Wow this is absolutely wonderful. Love this card.
Beautiful card Karen, the soft subdued collurs work brilliantly for a distressed theme, don't they?
Oh I like that Karen. What a great stamp and the bead just sets it off.
That's fab Karen! The mulberry looks great torn across the bottom and that bead was the perfect match for your theme!
