DCM - Recycling!

'This week we've been looking at Recycling once again. BUT there is a tiny twist! (you'd expect no less eh?) We want you to have a look at old shop bought greetings cards, wrapping paper or gift bags which you have received in the past and recycle any elements to make a card of your own.You could use them to make backgrounds, cut small focus pieces out, or use the flowers, ribbon and other interesting bits and pieces that are often attached to the cards. So there you go! Simple eh? So come on join in and reuse, go green, start recycling!'

I entered into the spirit of this with gusto. So imagine my dismay that when looking through my old received cards (not the handmade ones) I felt that, as I only keep those from close people, I couldn't find one to cut up!!! But after some humming & haa-ing I found one with a couple of cutesy bears on it. Not my usual thing so...snip snip!!!

Unfortunately the flash from my camera has reflected a little on the bears because they are glossy but I thought the card worked out ok. The background paper was an RAK from Kathy a while back. The ribbon was around a choccy box from Christmas and yes....you can still smell the chocolate...mmmm!!!
